Glazed Redware Stove Lift, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, tapered form with recessed top and ribbed body, the surface decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Restored base chips. A small filled and colored chip to top edge and other colored wear to top edge. H 4 1/8".
