Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES BINGHAMTON", New York State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of two poppy flowers with spotted and dashed accents. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Drips of staining to front. Exfoliation to reverse.
