Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, circa 1840, ovoid jug with footed base, rounded spout, and ribbed strap handle, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze over a mottled orange-and-green ground with streaked iron flecks. Wear to spout. A 1 1/2" chip to side of rim and wear to edges of handle. A few minor flecks and light wear to surface. Chip to underside at edge. H 10".
