One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM A MACQUOID & CO / NEW-YORK. / LITTLE WST 12TH ST," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, finely-decorated with a flowering plant bearing tulip and daisy blossoms. Cobalt highlight to capacity mark. Excellent condition with a few short surface lines at base, probably in-the-firing, which are not visible on interior, and continue an inch or less onto udnerside.
