Three One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S., circa 1870, one with cobalt leaf, stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT", and two unsigned jugs with cobalt leaf design, New York State origin. Norton jug with spider crack to front, extending from underside, and small spout chips. One other jug with staining, the spout with crazing and a minor chip. Another jug in excellent condition with a tiny spout nick.
