Two New York State Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Decoration, third quarter 19th century, a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed foliate decoration, stamped "A.O. WHITTEMORE / HAVANA, N.Y", paired with a one-gallon jug with brushed flower blossom, stamped "LYONS". Whittemore jug in very nice condition with a shallow spout chip and some light fry to cobalt. Lyons jug with large restoration to base, base chips, and minor wear to spout.
