One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "LYONS," Thompson Harrington, Lyons, NY, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and tall collar with stepped rim, the pitcher's midsection decorated with a brushed leaf beside a freehand "1". Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Significant restoration to spout, rim, and collar on pitcher's left side. Possibly an overdone restoration with an over-application of paint. A small flake to restoration paint. A small base chip.
