Two New York State Stoneware Advertising Jugs, second half 19th century, a one-gallon jug with stenciled cobalt advertising for "JOHN COYNE / UTICA, NY", stamped "WHITES UTICA," paired with a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed advertising for "S. Weiner. / Rondout. NY.", impressed FORT EDWARD STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.". One-gallon jug with restored handle, restored spout chips, and exfoliation near base. Two-gallon jug with heavy chipping to spout, some light fry to cobalt and traces of light-green paint to surface, as well as a 1/2" hole in front with a hairline extending from it and crazing surrounding it.
