Glazed Redware Sugar Bowl, probably Pennsylvania origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid bowl with upturned loop handles, footed base, and original slightly-domed lid with ball-shaped finial. Lid incised "34" on underside. Surfaces covered in a reddish-brown, lead-and-manganese glaze. Wear to rim. Minor base chip. Several shallow chips to lid. H (including lid) 4 1/2" ; Diameter (at opening) 5 3/4".
