Two Pieces of Pennsylvania Pottery, circa 1880, a redware jar with lead-glazed interior, stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," paired with a half-gallon butter crock with incised banding and brushed decoration of three cobalt tulips, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA. Bell jar with sealed and colored T-shaped crack at base, continuing across underside and partway up reverse of jar. Butter crock with rim chips and four cracks from rim, the rim secured with a wire. H (of butter crock) 4 1/8" ; Diameter (of butter crock) 6 1/4".
