Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Floral Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with a series of brushed swags and hanging flowers around shoulder. Some in-the-firing separations on interior and exterior base, which do not extend through base of jar. Rim chips. A 2 1/2" hairline from rim.
