Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled midsection, and semi-squared rim molding, decorated with a brushed hanging floral design flanked by swags. Additional inverted swag decoration flanking the spout, as well as on both sides of the pitcher's collar. Spout chip. Top-to-bottom crack on reverse, continuing onto underside, and becoming a faint line, which extends 4 1/2" up front of pitcher.
