Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F. STETZENMEYER / ROCHESTER, N.Y., circa 1850, slender, ovoid jug with slip-trailed decoration of a flowering plant with circular blossom, dotted trails, and heavily-shaded leaves. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Slip-trailed "2" below spout. Fry to cobalt. Spout chip on reverse.
