Green-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, tapered flowerpot with rounded rim molding and attached saucer with footed base and rounded rim, the surface covered in a streaky green copper glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Desirable color and outstanding condition. Flowerpot is in difficult-to-find, excellent and essentially as-made condition, with the only flaw being some typical calcium residue in the saucer. H 5".
