Two Ovoid New York State Stoneware Jars, circa 1830, a three-gallon jar with cobalt "3" and flourish, impressed on reverse "N. WHITE / UTICA"; paired with a four-gallon jar with cobalt tulip decoration, stamped "S.S. PERRY & Co. / WEST TROY". Utica jar with 7" Y-shaped hairline on side / reverse of jar, rim chips, a 3" hairline from rim, a tight 3" X-shaped line on right side of front, an iron ping on side of jar, and a short thin crack extending horizontally through one handle terminal, with small sliver missing from terminal. West Troy jar with loss to handle, section of bottom broken and reglued, along with cracks extending several inches up side of jar, and minor chips to inner rim.
