Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Glens Falls, NY Advertising, Northeastern U.S. origin, fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and Bristol-and-Albany-slip-glazed surface. Inscribed in slip-trailed cobalt, "M. Dolan Jr / Glens Falls / N.Y.". Excellent, essentially as-made condition with an unglazed spot on reverse.
