Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.B. PFALTZGRAFF & CO. / YORK, PA," circa 1855-1880, semi-ovoid jug with rounded spout, decorated with a tulip plant bearing two large blossoms. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Some dryness to surface. 2" chip at base on side of jug. A few small iron pings to surface.
