Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Large Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA," circa 1870-1889, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a very large brushed design of a tulip beside a leafy branch. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Crock is slightly out-of-round. A few rim chips. A short, minor line in one handle, possibly in-the-firing.
