Three Pieces of Utilitarian Redware, American, 19th century, an ovoid jar with glazed interior, stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO"; an ovoid jar with elaborate incised line decoration, possibly Norwalk, CT or Huntington, Long Island, New York origin; and a tapered bowl with yellow slip line below rim. Bell jar with 2 1/2" hairline from rim, several rim chips, light wear to surface, and some wear to interior. Glazed jar large restored handle chip, restoration to base, a 5 3/4" crack from rim on side of jar, a small filled and colored rim chip, light wear to molding below collar, and wear to surface. Bowl in excellent condition with a minor flake on interior of rim. H (of Bell jar) 9".
