Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, first half 19th century, cylindrical jar with footed base, tooled midsection, and flared rim, decorated with manganese sponging over a colorful green ground with orange spotting. Heavy chipping to base. Glaze loss to rim, primarily to a 3 1/2" section of rim. Two rim chips. H 9 7/8".
