Scarce Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Decoration, Stenciled "C.L. WILLIAMS / & CO. / NEW GENEVA / PA," circa 1895, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout and applied handles, featuring C.L. Williams maker's stenciling at the center, flanked by graduated freehand dashes. Four freehand stripes throughout body. Base with freehand "5" flanked by stylized flower blossoms. Essentially as-made condition with a small glazed-over chip on side of spout and lightness to the letters "LL" in "WILLIAMS".
