Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with two brushed tulips extending up the front. Collar heavily-decorated with six cobalt leaves. Several base chips. An in-the-firing nick on interior of rim. A few very faint surface lines on underside, probably in-the-firing. H 9 1/4".
