Two Pieces of New York State Stoneware, second half 19th century, a five-gallon jar with slip-trailed daisy decoration, stamped "W-A-LEWIS / GALESVILLE-N-Y," paired with a four-gallon crock with slip-trailed budding plant design, stamped "W. HART. / OGDENSBURGH". Lewis jar with staining, a short hairline from rim above one handle, a long hairline from rim on reverse, and a large crack from rim on reverse with wedge reglued. Hart crock with crack extending halfway across underside and up right side of crock to shoulder, another 6" crack from rim on left side extending onto front, three iron pings under left handle, some fry to cobalt, and staining throughout.
