Two Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Bird Decorations, New York State origin, circa 1875, a two-gallon crock with crested bird perched on a stylized tree branch, stamped "OTTMAN BROS & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y."; paired with a six-gallon crock with cobalt decoration of a large bird with unusual cobalt-highlighted body and spots, perched on a large leaf design, stamped "HAXSTUN OTTMAN & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.". Ottman Brothers crock missing one handle, with wear to opposite handle, a few cracks, and rim chips. Haxstun, Ottman, & Co. crock with two large pieces reglued on underside / base, along with a crack extending off from this damage through bird's tail, along with two rim chips.
