Two Northeastern U.S. Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Bird Decorations, circa 1875, a two-gallon jug with dove decoration, stamped "F.B. NORTON SONS. / WORCESTER, MASS", paired with a three-gallon jug with chicken pecking corn design, stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.". Norton jug with large crack on underside, continuing to shoulder, additional hairlines on underside, chipping to spout, two small pings, and some light fry to cobalt. Fort Edward jug missing handle, with a salt drip to front, some light fry to cobalt, a few rim chips, and a short line at base.
