Redware Bowl with Three-Color Slip Decoration, Mid-Atlantic origin, 19th century, with rim decorated with a band of cream-colored slip, the interior with heavy manganese sponging and several bands of light-green slip. A nicely-decorated example. Thin crack from rim, continuing 1" onto underside. Wear to interior. Pencil inscription to exterior. H 2 3/4" ; Diameter 9 7/8".
