Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES, UTICA," New York State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed floral design accented with spots. Excellent color. Very minor wear to end of one handle. A few base chips on reverse. Some shallow, glazed-over base chips on front.
