Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim, decorated completely around the body with a brushed flowering vine design. Collar decorated with a brushed flower on each side. Additional flower decoration on spout. Some in-the-firing dryness to surface. A tight line on underside and a tight short line at base. In-the-firing crazing to surface.
