Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with two tulips extending up the front. Collar decorated with cobalt leaves. Good size and decoration. Restored section to foot on side of pitcher, measuring approximately 1 1/2". Other small base chips. Horizontal hairline through handle. Three chips to edge of handle, one of which is glazed-over. Contact mark to front.
