Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt "Bee-Stinger" Decoration, Midwestern origin, probably Red Wing, MN, late 19th century, squat-shaped jug with tooled and rounded shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed "3" underscored by a "bee stinger". Four "turkey droppings" (salt drips) to shoulder. Fry to cobalt.
