Two Glazed Redware Jars, New England origin, second quarter 19th century, a narrow-mouthed canning jar with colorful orange, green, and yellowish lead-glazed surface, paired with a semi-ovoid jar with flared rim, decorated with manganese daubs over a olive ground with orange spotting. Taller jar with restoration and some wear to rim, as well as heavy chipping to base. Shorter jar with wear and some restoration to rim, some minor surface wear, a minor base chip, and a partially-drilled hole in underside, not visible on interior. H (of taller jar) 7".
