Two Pieces of Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1880, a two-gallon jug with stenciled foliate designs with in a diamond border, paired with a four-gallon crock with similar stenciling within a diamond border. Jug with some stable exfoliation, two small base chips, and a 3" hairline from rim. Crock with some stained spots, rim chips, a long shallow in-the-firing chip to bottom edge, and a few other base chips.
