Unusual Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Unusual Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "EVAN R. JONES / PITTSTON, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with heavily-tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large, brushed and slip-trailed design of a tulip plant with heavily-detailed leaves. Excellent condition with two minor chips on interior of rim and a salt drip to handle.
