Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, tapered pot with rounded rim, attached to a saucer with rounded rim and footed base, the surface decorated with streaks of manganese over a light orange ground. Impressed with "JOHN BELL" maker's mark on underside. 1" chip on exterior of rim. Small chip on interior of rim with 7/8" line extending from it, the line primarily visible on interior of rim. Tight 3 7/8" inverted Y-shaped crack from rim. Some whitish residue to surface. Very minor wear to rim of saucer. H 6".
