Stoneware Spaniel Doorstop, probably Ohio origin, fourth quarter 19th century, unglazed seated spaniel on octagonal base with relief clamshell and foliate design. Hand-incised details to spaniel's face and paws. 2" flake on interior of base. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10 1/4".
