Two Three-Gallon Midwestern Stoneware Crocks, third quarter 19th century, both of similar cylindrical form with applied lug handles, each decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip design below the number "3," flanked by dashes. Lighter-colored crock in excellent condition with a base chip on reverse and a 2 3/4" separation on interior of rim. Other crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
