One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Bird Decoration, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1880, ovoid jar with flattened rim, decorated with a stenciled design of a flying bird above a tulip at the center of T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling. Stenciled signature flanked by small stenciled tulips. Large restored area at base on left side of jar. Y-shaped crack in underside, extending onto base, including two cracks which extend several inches up body of jar. Staining to reverse. Some fry to cobalt.
