One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "C. HART / SHERBURNE," New York State origin, circa 1853-1858, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, decorated with a slip-trailed floral blossom accented with spots, underscored by two leaves. Good color, decoration, and size. A few shallow rim chips. Some tiny chips on interior of rim where a lid would rest.
