Two Baltimore, MD Stoneware Jugs, circa 1875 and 1900, a half-gallon salt-glazed stoneware advertising jug with impressed, cobalt-highlighted advertising for "E. MITCHELL & SONS / GROCERS / NO, 90 PRATTT STREET / BALTIMORE," paired with a brown-and-white jug with advertising for "THE TRIACA CO. / IMPORTERS AND DEALERS / WINES & LIQUORS / 312-314-316 LIGHT ST., / BALTIMORE, MD". Mitchell jug with poorly-restored handle, large restoration to spout, and a 2 3/4" surface line to shoulder. Triaca jug in as-made condition with a glazed-over base chip and in-the-firing contact mark to underside.
