Two Stoneware Spittoons, American, second half 19th century, one with clover decoration and cobalt brushed around the opening at shoulder, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875; the other a large-sized example with incised and cobalt-highlighted lines, Northeastern U.S. origin, late 19th century. Baltimore spittoon with unstabilized, partially-restored cracks. Other spittoon in excellent condition with minor wear. H (of Baltimore spittoon) 4" ; Diameter (of Baltimore spittoon) 9 1/4".
