Scarce Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Manganese Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, fourth quarter century, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird with long tail, perched on a branch with leaves. Unusual brown manganese decoration. Iron ping on underside. Small rim chip on reverse.
