Fine Diminutive Redware Bowl with Slip Decoration, American, early 19th century, with small, footed base and rounded sides, the circumference decorated with a scalloped stripe of a dark green slip flanked by thinner stripes of yellow slip. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example from an eighty-year private collection. 1" and 3/8" chips to foot. Wear to rim. Two small, shallow chips on interior of rim. 1 3/8" hairline from rim. H 2 5/8" ; Diameter 5".
