Bristol-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Water Cooler with Stenciled Cobalt Fish Decoration, Stenciled "MCNEIL & HIGGINS / COMPANY. / CHICAGO / ILLS.," late 19th or early 20th century, approximately four-gallon, keg-form cooler, decorated with brushed cobalt bands and a finely-stenciled fish at center. Hairlines to base and underside. Small chips to rim and inner rim, which would hold a lid. Some staining to rim. Shallow base chips. H 15 1/2".
