Two Pieces of Greensboro, PA Stoneware, circa 1875, an ovoid one-gallon jug with freehand stripe decoration, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO / GREENSBORO. PA," paired with a canning jar, stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO. / PA". Jug with large 5" x 2 1/2" salt drip to reverse, a 2" salt drip to handle, and a small chip to spout. Canning jar with chips on interior of rim and dark, in-the-firing discoloration at base on reverse.
