Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Ohio origin, circa 1850, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large brushed cobalt tulip plant. Large rim chip on front. Smaller, shallow rim chip on reverse. A few very tiny nicks to interior of rim. Scattered lines throughout right side of front and reverse.
