Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. BENNAGE & J.A. SUTHERLAND / SPRINGFIELD / PORTAGE CO / OHIO," second quarter 19th century, highly ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip extending from a leafy stem. Excellent condition with two minor, shallow chips to top of spout.
