Fine Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Star Decoration, Stenciled "A. CONRAD & Co. / NEW GENEVA, PA," circa 1875, tapered jar with flared wax sealer rim and rounded shoulder accented with tooled lines, the front decorated with two stenciled stars above A. Conrad maker's stenciling, stenciled flourishes at the midsection, and a large stenciled banner with diamonds and triangles at base. Small chip to shoulder molding. Glazed-over 7/8" surface line from rim. Several small chips to interior of rim. 1 1/4" horizontal line along edge of inner wax sealer rim.
