Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. WEAVER," Beaver, PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid jar with pronounced shoulder molding, rounded rim, and large lug handles, the front decorated with a wavy fuschia vine bearing four blossoms. Long, shallow chip to edge on underside, probably in-the-firing. Wear to surface, including a significant band of wear to front below maker's mark.
