Salt-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "WM. HARE / WILMINGTON, DEL.," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tall, narrow neck and slightly-flared rim, the front impressed with William Hare maker's mark including a double impression of the word "WILMINGTON". Two shallow rim chips and light wear to rim. Glazed-over base chip. Lightly-worn spot to base.
