Three-Quart Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled shoulder and collar, the front decorated with two finely-brushed cobalt tulips. Collar decorated with two tulip blossoms on each side, along with swags flanking the spout. A nicely-decorated example. Professionally restored top-to-bottom crack on right side of pitcher. Restoration to base. Restoration to rim on left side of pitcher. Minor nick to handle. H 8 3/4".
